Aileen D. Olson, 103, of Temperance, MI, died Sunday, March 25, 2018. Born September 18, 1914, in Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter of John H. and Florence (E. (Witte) Dromgold. She was the widow of Ronald Mechler, George Wenrick, and Roland Olson. Aileen was employed by Libby-Owens-Ford in the Insurance Dept. for 25 years, retiring in 1975.
She is survived by her loving daughter-in-law and care giver, Judith; son-in-laws, James Callaway and William Bell; 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her children, David Mechler, Patricia Bell, Judith Callaway and sister, June Sansom.
Visitation will be from 2-8 pm, Thursday, March 29, 2018, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, March 30, 2018. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
